Products

Are the products natural?

We design our products close to nature. Most of our products contain micronutrients of natural origin. We rely on high-quality raw materials, whose origin we know exactly and which we purchase exclusively from renowned raw material suppliers.

1
Are the products vegan?

All food supplements from WIDMANN are vegan.

1
Can I take several WIDMANN products at the same time?

This is absolutely possible, because different combinations of minerals and vitamins are also basically absorbed through food. For some micronutrients, the uptake is favored by the parallel intake of another micronutrient. It is assumed, for example, that the absorption of OPC in combination with vitamin C is ideal. When taking combination preparations in conjunction with mono-preparations, you should observe the consumption recommendation for the individual micronutrients as a whole.

1
Can I take your products if I am lactose or gluten intolerant?

Yes, we guarantee that our products do not contain lactose or gluten.

1
What are the storage recommendations?

Since our dietary supplements are based on powdered active ingredients, it is important to store them in a dry place, well closed, protected from light and at normal room temperature. Due to the humid environment, storage in the bathroom or refrigerator is not recommended.

1
What is the best way to take nutritional supplements?

The exact intake recommendations can be found on the respective product packaging and on the label. In principle, fat-soluble vitamins (for example, vitamins A, D, K) should ideally be taken with a meal and not on an empty stomach. Zinc should preferably be taken in the evening, ideally on an empty stomach. If the recommendation is to take the preparation twice a day, you should stick to this, because the body cannot fully absorb too much of the active ingredient at once. Furthermore, you should avoid foods that inhibit absorption, such as coffee or black tea. It is known that phosphates in sausage or soft drinks inhibit the absorption of calcium and magnesium. Sugar, salt and protein-rich foods favour the excretion of calcium. Sugar also blocks the absorption of chromium.

1
What is the shelf life of the products?

The expiry date is printed on the outer packaging and jar.

1
Where are WIDMANN products manufactured?

Our nutritional supplements are developed, manufactured and controlled exclusively in Germany according to strict quality criteria.

1
Why is the packaging particularly environmentally friendly?

Due to our many years of activity in the healthcare sector, the issue of social responsibility is particularly close to our hearts. That is why we also pay attention to a sustainable packaging concept. Unlike many suppliers on the market, we have deliberately opted for food-safe, transparent glass jars that are fully recyclable. We dispense with plastic packaging as far as possible.

1
Why is there so little information about some products on your website?

According to the EU Health Claims Regulation, as a manufacturer of dietary supplement products, we are only allowed to make very specific health-related claims. For certain ingredients, mostly of plant origin, there are still no authorized statements of effectiveness. Unfortunately we cannot provide any more information. However, further information is available from trustworthy sources on independent health platforms. Your doctor, naturopath or nutritionist can also give you well-founded information on the possibilities of individual micronutrients.
